When I moved to Fort Collins, I started working at Biscuits Dog Pawlour doing reception, daycare, bathing, and grooming. I then got a job at Poudre Pet and Feed, where I learned a ton about pet nutrition. In my role as assistant manager I was able to attend numerous seminars on nutrition, including a three day educational tour of the Hills facility. My next job was at Dogs’ Own Grooming Salon, Daycare, and School, where I worked as a bather and daycare attendant. This job gave me the opportunity to learn a great deal about skin conditions and diseases, and various therapies to help these conditions. This job also brought me my canine companion Waffles, a Pomeranian/Poodle mix who I rescued during the 2013 floods. In 2016 I realized that I was at my happiest when I was doing pet sitting and dog walking, and I feel very lucky to have joined the Wet Noses team so I can continue to follow my passion!
